A journalism degree taught me to find the story. A career in entertainment marketing taught me how to sell it. My job is to tell your brand’s story clearly and put it in front of the people who need to hear it.
My story
20 years in the game
I am an award-winning marketer, national communicator and creative brand builder, with 20 years of experience in sports, live events and entertainment, and most recently B2B media.
I am focused on enhancing brands through visual storytelling, creative marketing and impactful strategy.
Over the course of my career, I have supported and led integrated marketing and communications campaigns that strengthen brands through content, storytelling, branding and creative execution. I have worked on and led more than 50 campaigns for large-scale events, including the NCAA Men’s Final Four, MLB All-Star Weekend, the NFL Draft, NBA All-Star and national governing body championships. My background in sports and entertainment has shaped how I connect audiences to brands, with clarity, consistency and intention.
In 2021, I received the Distinguished Marketing and Sales Award from SME Cleveland for my work with the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission.
I also bring a strong creative background in graphic design and art direction, providing design support for a range of organizations, including several nonprofits.
Through Meredith Painter Creative, I partner with nonprofits, small businesses and growing brands that want national-level strategy with a personal touch.
